In some laptops, there is hot key to enable or disable the touch pad. But most of them donot have this feature.

Follow these steps to disable your laptop’s touch pad.

1. Download the Synaptic pointing device for your laptop. Click here

2. Go to Control panel—> Mouse

3. In the Mouse properties, Go to Device settings tab.

4. click on disable button to disable you touch pad.

Your touch pad is disabled now.
